Research Assistant in the field Of Geomechanics and Geotechnics

The focus of the current position is to carry out research work to gain further understanding on how biological interfaces, like skin and mucosa, respond to external factors. With a mechanistic insight in how these responses affect solute permeability over such interfaces we may facilitate topical drug delivery as well as detection of excreted endogenous marker molecules. A long-term objective of our research is to develop different platforms of attachable wireless biomedical devices with referencing technologies for robust sensing, controlled drug delivery and other types of health care services with enhanced reliability, safety and security.
Vi søker etter en høyt kvalifisert fagperson som kan ta del i fagutvikling, undervisning og veiledning i mastergradsstudiet i informatikk, og være en drivende kraft i avdelingens forsknings- og utviklingsarbeid. Den som ansettes må også være villig til å delta i undervisning i avdelingens øvrige studieløp.
The Geoscience and Geoengineering department is divided into six research teams which cover most of the applied Earth Sciences fields (geology, geophysics, geostatistics, hydrogeology, hydrochemistry, engineering geology and geomechanics). Research activities are generally multidisciplinary and involve several teams of the department, topics spanning from original and fundamental developments to innovative industrial solutions. The department employs 54 tenured researchers, 34 technicians and about 65 Ph. D. students.
